Outdoor Plants Difficulty: Easy

📖 About this plant

One of the most fragrant and beloved flowering shrubs, lilacs produce dense clusters of intensely fragrant flowers in shades of purple, lavender, blue, pink, magenta, white, and creamy yellow. The iconic scent of lilac in bloom signals the arrival of late spring. Lilacs are extremely long-lived plants that can survive for over a century. They require cold winters (chill hours) to set flower buds properly.
