📖 About this plant
Mellingtonia hortensis (Indian cork tree or ‘Akas nim’ in Odia, also spelled Millingtonia hortensis) is a tall ornamental avenue tree prized for its fragrant white flowers that bloom in winter. Native to Myanmar, it is widely planted across India in gardens, parks, and along roads.
