N’Joy Pothos

Epipremnum aureum 'N'Joy'

Indoor Plants Difficulty: Easy Air purifying

📖 About this plant

N’Joy Pothos is a stunning, compact pothos variety that features some of the most dramatic white variegation of any pothos cultivar. Its leaves can be more white than green, with irregular patches and splashes of pure white, cream, and green creating a painterly effect. Discovered in India, this relatively new cultivar has quickly become a collector favorite. The leaves are smaller and more delicate than standard pothos, and the growth habit is more compact, making it ideal for small spaces. Each leaf is a unique work of art.

🛡️ Health & Safety

⚠️ Not pet safe ☠️ Toxic

Toxic to cats and dogs — calcium oxalate crystals cause oral irritation, drooling, and vomiting

Common issues

  • Highly prone to losing variegation in low light
  • very slow growth
  • crispy white leaf areas from direct sun or low humidity
  • root rot from overwatering
  • mealybugs on new growth

💡 Care tips

  1. Needs brighter light than most pothos to maintain its heavy white variegation — without enough light, new leaves will be mostly green.
  2. Avoid direct sunlight which burns the white leaf portions.
  3. This is a slow grower so be patient.
  4. Propagate regularly to create a bushier plant.
  5. The compact size makes it perfect for small pots, terrariums, and dish gardens.
